The DJ Express has been at the forefront of country music, Line dancing and Instruction for 20 years in the Tri-State area, MD. and also in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Known as a company with top-notch instructors, our country DJ's are friendly and upbeat and help make any country event or night club a success. We play and teach both the newest country dances as well as the old standards such as the 38 Step, Tush Push and Water Mellon Crawl. We tailor make + individualize each party or night club to your specific group + cater to their music + teaching requests. In addition to the line dance lessons we also teach the most popular couples dances like the Elpaso, the Charleston Bump, the Shadow, the Sweetheart Scottish, the 2-Step and the 16 Step. Although we are a professional company, we are also fun, enthusiastic and very involved in our shows. Just Mugs' DJ
Some years ago the Leading Entertainment paper of DE., "Sparks", wrote an article identifying " Just Mugs" (a club on Rt#40, in Bear DE.) as the #1, hottest country line dance club in all of DE. It was the DJ Express that helped to give it that reputation as we started the line dancing there shortly after it opened in 2002. We built it from 15 people to almost 100 mostly every Wednesday for 10 years. Each night was definitely a happening. Just Mugs eventually closed in Sept 2012 as investors with other ideas eyed the property as much more valuable for other purposes. However, the DJ Express is so proud of our success there + has carried on that success, fun dancing + great times at other clubs + individual parties.

Line Dance lessons at 7:00, including the newest country dances as well as the best of the traditional ones followed by a fun night of line + couples dances including a slow song, the Elpaso, 16 Step, etc. The Cupid Shuffle, + Wobble are also played. No Cover.
This is a very comfortable, attractive Club with a huge bar in the center, lots of table space, and ample room for dancing. The food at The Game Changers is exceptional, with seafood dishes, and Wednesday is always their special wings night.
DIRECTIONS : This location is 1.8 miles west of rt #1 on rt 40.. Although on rt 40, you can not see it from the road. As you go west on 40 from rt #1, proceed 5-6 lights till you see Seasons Pizza on the left. Immediately turn left making a U turn at that light( the Ambassador Liquor Store is on the corner but not clearly marked). A 2nd time pass Seasons Pizza + turn right into the small driveway into the Elizabeth Plaza. Game Changers is straight ahead.
Wednesday AFTERNOONS
Newark Senior Center , 2:30-4:00. Weekly, Wednesday country lessons with Jim. If you’re aged 50 or older don’t miss this fun afternoon. Lessons will be geared to the crowd that shows up but definitely a lot of beginner’s lessons. Your first time is FREE, but after that you must purchase a one year membership to Sr Center for $30, + must be at least age 50 to participate. Address: 200 White Chapel Dr, Newark De 19713. Wednesday NIGHTS- NEW COUNTRY DANCE EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT 7:00-10:00
New Castle American Legion, 156 A, North Dupont Hwy is the home of an-every Wed country dance hosted by dj Jim Dawson. Beginners' lessons will start at 7:00+ regular dancing to your favorite new songs + requests will start at 8:00End time is
10:00. The A.L. is a huge room in an absolutely awesome place with the best dance floor. So come out + you will love it. Cost will be $10, but includes free water + the cheapest prices anywhere for drinks, pizza + hot dogs. No outside drinks or food is allowed to be brought in. This is a sparkling new facility with one of the biggest, best dance floors. Because it is so new, google + all other map sources will not take you to the right place. Follow these directions only: from rt 40, turn north onto 13. Cross rt 273 + cross the next red light. Go 25 ft + immediately turn R onto the next very small road. ( It's just before the sign for the Toyota Dealership + there's a very small round sign indicating the American Legion) Take this road back towards the water tower to the beautiful A.L. Enter by the last set of double doors in the back. It's across from the Airport just behind the Toyota Dealership. 10 min from rts 273 +95, 10min from Game Changers, 20 min from Elkton's Walmart + 25 m from center Middletown
Thursday
VFW in Chesapeake City , every Thursday 6:30-9:30. Cover $6 for all dancers . This is a very big attractive location with lots of table space + spacious bar with a lot of friendly dancers. Great for line dancers and couples. The VFW is always a popular, fun spot. Come on out and learn the latest dances and meet new friends.
DIRECTIONS: Coming from Rt 896 go 5 miles into Elkton on Rt 40 then turn left on to Rt 213 south for six miles and as soon as you cross the big bridge immediately turn R, then an immediate L. Go 1 mile + turn L into the VFW’s big parking lot. Call 302-478-9432.
