The DJ Express has been at the forefront of country music, Line dancing and Instruction for 20 years in the Tri-State area, MD. and also in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Known as a company with top-notch instructors, our country DJ's are friendly and upbeat and help make any country event or night club a success. We play and teach both the newest country dances as well as the old standards such as the 38 Step, Tush Push and Water Mellon Crawl. We tailor make + individualize each party or night club to your specific group + cater to their music + teaching requests. In addition to the line dance lessons we also teach the most popular couples dances like the Elpaso, the Charleston Bump, the Shadow, the Sweetheart Scottish, the 2-Step and the 16 Step. Although we are a professional company, we are also fun, enthusiastic and very involved in our shows. Just Mugs' DJ
Some years ago the Leading Entertainment paper of DE., "Sparks", wrote an article identifying " Just Mugs" (a club on Rt#40, in Bear DE.) as the #1, hottest country line dance club in all of DE. It was the DJ Express that helped to give it that reputation as we started the line dancing there shortly after it opened in 2002. We built it from 15 people to almost 100 mostly every Wednesday for 10 years. Each night was definitely a happening. Just Mugs eventually closed in Sept 2012 as investors with other ideas eyed the property as much more valuable for other purposes. However, the DJ Express is so proud of our success there + has carried on that success, fun dancing + great times at other clubs + individual parties.

Line Dance lessons at 7:15, including the newest country dances as well as the best of the traditional ones followed by a fun night of line + couples dances including a slow song, the Elpaso, 16 Step, etc. The Cupid Shuffle, + Wobble are also played. No Cover.
This is a very comfortable, attractive Club with a huge bar in the center, lots of table space, and ample room for dancing. The food at The Game Changers is exceptional, with seafood dishes, and Wednesday is always their special wings night.
DIRECTIONS : This location is 1.8 miles west of rt #1 on rt 40.. Although on rt 40, you can not see it from the road. As you go west on 40 from rt #1, proceed 5-6 lights till you see Seasons Pizza on the left. Immediately turn left making a U turn at that light( the Ambassador Liquor Store is on the corner but not clearly marked). A 2nd time pass Seasons Pizza + turn right into the small driveway into the Elizabeth Plaza. Game Changers is straight ahead.
Tuesday AFTERNOONS
Newark Senior Center , 2:30-4:00. Weekly, Tuesday country lessons with Jim. If you’re aged 50 or older don’t miss this fun afternoon. Lessons will be geared to the crowd that shows up but definitely a lot of beginner’s lessons. Your first time is FREE, but after that you must purchase a one year membership to Sr Center for $30, + must be at least age 50 to participate. Address: 200 White Chapel Dr, Newark De 19713. Wednesday
OCCASIONAL WEDNESDAY NIGHTS- NEW COUNTRY DANCE WEDNESDAY NIGHT at Downingtown United Methodist Church, Lancaster Ave, 7:00-10:00 $10 Adult Cover, $5 Cover for ages 12-17. Lots of beginners lessons, but the top dance hits are played between the lessons, therefore this event is good for all levels. Bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks, water is provided. Thursday
Bohemian Manor Farm: (Formerly called Chateau Bu-De) Every Thursday 6:45-9:00. We have a nice crowd there every week, so don't miss the fun, Cover is still only $6 + time is 6:45-9:00. The Chateau now serves beer + all your favorite alcoholic drinks. As you can expect, each week I make it a good time for everyone. We will be in the lower level. Please enter the usual doors to the bar area, then go down the steps behind the bar to our dance area. Although you still order food at the bar, they may not deliver it downstairs. However, you can take the food to the dance area where there will be chairs + tables for all. Just as a reminder, it's on rt 213, 15 minutes south of the McDonalds + Burger King in Elkton + only 20 minutes from Northeast, Md, from Mechanics Rd +Royal Farms. Going south on 213 it's on the Right, 4.9 miles south of the end of the big Chesapeake City Bridge as the Rd makes a sharp left. They have made bigger signs on the right immediately as you turn, + finally, the entire parking lot is well-lit.
Sunday Night
(2) Sundays, 9/15 + continuing every Sunday, 6:30-9:30, at the Thorndale Inn, 430 Bondsville Road,( rt 340) Downingtown, Pa, 19335. No Cover. DJ Jim Dawson, who has brought big country crowds to the Downingtown Country Club, Timothy's + other hot spots will be doing the honors. Jim will be giving lessons + is the perfect instructor for people with two left feet. However, Jim will also play the hot dance hits including A BAR SONG + keep everyone happy. The Inn is a classy restaurant with a fine dining room, a casual dining/bar area + a separate wooden dance hall. Come early + enjoy the great food + party the rest of the night
